"...it actually captures a vibe and a mood, a moment in time that could not be captured had the musicians not all been sitting in a room. I'm not sure if this song was recorded in the above way, but it sounds very "roomy". And I love it."
- Craig Norris, CBC Radio 3
"Miss Quincy ain’t just another pretty face with a guitar. Did I mention she can sing? Her voice is a welcome change from the over-produced, synthesized female drones filling commercial airwaves these days. It has character and bite, like a good cigar."
-Markham Hislop, SE Calgary News
"If I had a say in the matter... I would appoint "Miss Quincy and the Ramblers" official band of the Peace Country. Maybe it's hard to explain, but if you have seen them perform before you know what I mean. The energy and enthusiasm of the Peace, with songs about The Peace Country and stuff that I feel only Peace Country folks really understand!"
-Russell Eagleston, Northern Groove Magazine
"What impressed me most was the quality of the original tunes, which made made up almost all of the first set... It’s not often one hears a young group with catchy, well-constructed melodies, interesting and relevant lyrics, and a real stage presence. That’s Miss Quincy."

Oh, the time flies. Can you believe that winter is fast approaching. Let me inform you about some of the changes and developments that have occurred over the past few months. Miss Quincy, after a full summer tour with the Ramblers took a time out to spend two months in the wilderness writing and reconnecting with her roots. After 60 days in a tent, with only a harmonica and without telephones, running water or internet she came away with a new and focussed vision. (Check out her wilderness video blog here) She recently traded in her tent for a very small cabin, still in the northern wilderness (and still no running water, but the outhouse has a fantastic view of the Peace hills...), where she plans on recording a whole new collection of songs this winter prior to touring in the UK in the spring. Miss Quincy's music has reached a new level of maturity and she has taken The Sideshow to a whole new level. If you are kicking around the Peace country this winter you're welcome to drop by her cabin anytime.
Peace and inspiration to you all

Thank you to all who came out and supported Miss Quincy & the Ramblers this summer on our Western Canada tour. We had an amazing time, met lots of new friends and played all over the place. As fall is approaching fast, the Ramblers will be spending time on their own projects and Miss Quincy will be heading to the wilderness to find some writing inspiration (as well as earn some cash, as every musician must do once in a while) But keep in touch as there are tour plans in the works for the near future.
This summer Miss Quincy & the Ramblers released their self titled album which is an upbeat collection of ten original songs with charismatic lyrics, solid musicianship and a timeless quality. It is now available for sale at Miss Quincy's store and samples of the songs can be heard here.

Just caught your sunday set at Jam at the Dam. Nice. You guys (and gals) really have something you don't see much anymore. Passion and soul. I'm just putting your cd on my ipod now, it should help with truck driving I'm thinking. Anyhow, thanks for the entertainment, and thanks for not doing karaoke. Chris

I have now had the pleasure of seeing Miss Q and the Ramblers play many a time ... each experience rocks higher and higher ... unbelievable talents, Miss Q. You would not have a dream without the ability to make it come true - and I feel as though any dream of yours would be absolutely elevated by the power of your magical presence and magnificently glorious talents ... keep sharing ... the world is a better place with you on stage. Thank you for all the good times and so look forward to dancing in the bliss of Miss Quincy's soulful delight! Thanks for rock'n me so good. Have a blessed rest of your tour.
